JUNK FASHION SHOW MCR

Walking into the ex-primary school now squat in a corner of Moss Side, squatter residents for the week like to call Hulme. The “crusties” had found an old school building and moved in, the heating and electricity still on before the site is demolished sometime in the next month, which is a shame as its been put to some good use. This was an interesting experience seeing such cultural events in Manchester was refreshing. The show, JUNK Fashion Show was far off what I’m used to seeing on the London and Paris fashion scenes, what seemed like innocently mocked pieces of fashion created from basically junk off the streets ended up showcasing some goodies, bustier tops made from old inner tubes, and a newspaper dresses held together with video tape that had a wicked shape to it. On the night there was also Capoeira dancing and installations from artists from the collective.

ZARA MERRICK

Here are a few images from Zara Merrick you could describe Zara's work as very intricate and ornate, I love it, it plays tricks on yours eyes in this form of a photo this embroidery illustration looks great and in real life even better. Zara uses the tiniest pieces of fabrics cut out into shapes mixed with her illustrated painting to create these stories which are super cool. Zara takes up private commissions and shows in exhibitions throughout LONDON. From Belfast to PUTNEY.

"Happy Birthday Dean Golden"

Hey Dean Happy Birthday.

The best new feature of an application I have found on my computer recently is the share screen feature on SKYPE it's soooooooo funny, you can see your friends' screen while you chat rubbish which is fun for showing them the funny files that build up in your computer, or messages from lovers, it's up to you.

On the day I found this out it happened to be the day I am speaking to my good friend DEAN on SKYPE and it is his birthday.

Its you 22nd and your having a Black Birthday. Can't wait, all things Black and super gay.

A taste of the Caribbean.

PIA'S POLES

Hey watch PIA do her thing on the light poles on TUDOR GROVE after a night out to TONY HORNECKERS exhibition "Beautiful Freaks" at the Dalston Superstore. Everyone who took part and performed at the exhibition did a great job to pull of their roles. There was a real feeling of nightlife and the rawness of the big bad city we live in and love so much. Check out this photo of a photo......

NOVA DANDO Rainbow Collection

This is why no one has seen me for ages...........

Here is the NOVA DANDO Rainbow Collection video. The collection was inspired by rainbows, lights and features denim with black and white colours which add a little monotone. NOVAS inspirations have been drawn from when she was a child and she loved rainbows and her travelling across America on tour when creating looks for bands stage outfits.

The film was shown on the first night of LONDON Fashion Week in the Hospital Club in Covent Garden, directed by Saam.

SNEAK PEAK

ARE YOU FEELING ME?

I've been listening to a variety of genres for a while now but when I was younger my true true favorite tunes were along the RnB/Hip-Hop spectrum of thing and then bordering on to cheese, as I got older everything go a little cooler and I was exposed to other styles of everything so started to enjoy them.

But for now I am going back to my roots and just having a bit of an R AND B revival in my life and loving it, been listening to BBC 1Xtra quite a bit, to GCHILD's and BENJI B shows. Loving it, Just came across a tune I haven't heard for ages, Aaliyah - ARE YOU FEELING ME? Off the soundtrack to ROMEO MUST DIE lovely.

Here is the video for you.

I'll keep you posted on whatever else I'm finding during my revival or the 90's and early 00's trackage.

.....ENJOY

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SELFRIDGES

As you may know Selfridges & Co. are celebration their one hundredth year of being on of the best department stores on Oxford St. this year.

I have always had a love for the store, when I was younger I was always fascinated by it after seeing it's appearance on the BBC2 program The Shop, I was determined that when I was older I wanted a Saturday job in there when I would be at Uni in London. Little did I know I wouldn't have to wait thats long, a store came to Manchester when I was 16 and I did get 'the job' but I didn't like it. I worked there for a few months and left but I was always still ever happy because it was a chance for me to see just a few but enough of those designer pieces in real life that I only ever got to see on the cover of magazines and in London boutiques.

Now Myles features in the 100th edition magazine with a list of some other cool people I love in this city. A little dreams came true.........

Trannies..................

Myles' intro to TrannyVille

The home of the tremendos Tranny Nannie who transformed great children's and their mothers' live into a spectacular cabaret of sorts
and gave porsoreity in all forms.

Tranny Nannie lived in the East Wing of Tannie Mansions in The Maisonettes just around the corner from Tranny Rathaus. She was happy, contented, beautiful, fun and most definatly pre-opp.

Tranny Nannie's main aim was to make sure the mainstream would fall by using cheap tranny labour, her main selling point was to provide amazing looked after care to all of those mutant children of the nouveau class a life of performance and eccentricity after all, all every mother wanted was for their children to be on the next front page of the next cover of the next issue of the next top selling middle shelf consumer magazine, little did they know this was the underworld and the consumer was different, sub and post in every way imaginable
....

This was a chance for Tranny Nannie to excresise her manifesto to the coked up mothers of the hood with their busy, gay loving, supermodel lifestyles and their cityworker, cheating husbands who were banging Thai tranny cock in Hong Kong
...

The miniopolis of Tranny Ville, the underwold of the neuvau where trends began was a magical and frightening place whe eunuchs, gays, drug addicts, whores, trannies artists and wealthty trendy men call home, deep in the depths off an allyway mutant humans believe themselves to be normal would never even dare walk down, even the most 'crazy', 'I'm mad me' bitches would never even dream of taking a shortcut home after a trip to Sainsbury's local.

.............

haha

I need to make TrannyVille
Its good being here time to write things all day
See you next week
Myles
